Whoopi Goldberg has never been one to shy away from confrontation, and she’s now gone head-to-head with business magnate Donald J. Trump after she was unimpressed by his recent comments on the Ebola virus.
The Sister Act actress blasted Trump for his recent comments about letting the infected American missionaries Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol into the U.S. for treatment after they contracted the life-threatening disease while working with patients in West Africa.
Whoopi Goldberg apologizes for sloppy journalism comment >>
The missionaries were transported back into the U.S. and are now under the close watch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They are currently being treated in Atlanta, Georgia. This is something Trump is clearly unhappy about, and he took to Twitter on Saturday to share his views about the matter.
The U.S. must immediately stop all flights from EBOLA infected countries or the plague will start and spread inside our "borders." Act fast!

The fact that we are taking the Ebola patients, while others from the area are fleeing to the United States, is absolutely CRAZY-Stupid pols

A doctor on NBC Nightly News agreed with me-we should not bring Ebola into our country through two patients, but should bring docs to them.

The bigger problem with Ebola is all of the people coming into the U.S. from West Africa who may be infected with the disease. STOP FLIGHTS!

The business mogul suggested that the U.S. close its borders to those needing medical attention for the Ebola virus, but this is something Goldberg strongly disagrees with. In fact, she’s called his comments “stupid” and “idiotic.”
Donald Trump proves he’s not an orangutan, wants $5 million >>
Goldberg let her views be known on Monday, on The View, where she admitted Trump is her friend, but that his views are completely wrong.
“I don’t really know how to respond to it in a polite way,” Goldberg said. “I like Donald, I try to be respectful, but this was an idiotic comment.”
“I’m not defending him, but he is also a friend of mine, so I don’t want to be disrespectful to him,” she continued. “But that was a stupid comment.”
Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t care about the royal baby >>
Goldberg went on to explain how the virus does not just “carry in the wind” and that to contract the virus bodily fluids must be exchanged. “Do your homework, Donald,” she added. “Just do your homework.”
Although, we’re not sure Trump got his friend’s message because he took to Twitter again on Tuesday to express the seriousness of the Ebola virus.
Our government now imports illegal immigrants and deadly diseases. Our leaders are inept.
