It’s “Kim Kardashian” no more: Say hello to Mrs. West

Kim Kardashian is kissing her alliterative name goodbye. Weeks after marrying Kanye West, the reality star has made her new moniker official.

Announcing she’s no longer legally going by the famous Kardashian name, the mother of North West took to Instagram.

Posting the picture seen here, the newlywed wrote Tuesday, “New passport pic #Mrs.West #NameChange.”

It seems Monday was another busy day for the beauty, who wed West on May 24. Not only did the glam selfie-loving star pop in for a new passport photo, but she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well, and she shared an adorable shot of her husband and daughter together.

Posting the image below, she explained, “I’m at Jimmy Kimmel and look who I see… Tune in tonight!”

While earlier in the day she posted this daddy-daughter photo with the hashtag #BringYourDaughterToWorkDay.

Marriage the third time around seems to be agreeing with the video game app maven. Last month she explained she’s re-prioritized her life and is now putting family in front of career commitments.

“You know, now that I’m married,” the beauty said, “I would so much rather spend time with my husband, my family and my baby than run around the world working for other people.”

Surely, Kanye West is pleased by Kim’s name change, given he sees their marriage as significant to many.

“Saying ‘Hey, I like Kim’ isn’t as inspiring to people as us getting married,” he previously told GQ while discussing their decision to tie the knot. “And anyone that’s in a relationship knows that in order to get to the point to get married and then to be married and to then carry on, it needs that work put into it. Right now, people look at it and it’s like, ‘Wow, that’s inspiring.'”

What do you think of Kim Kardashian changing her recognizable name: sweet or a questionable career move?
