Shepherd has also made current headlines regarding an ongoing battle between her and estranged husband, Lamar Sally, for a baby carried by a surrogate mother. The 30 Rock alum and Sally separated and are now fighting for custody of a child that was conceived through a surrogate for the couple.
On the same day Shepherd announced she was awarded the role in Cinderella, the surrogate mom gave birth to a baby boy. However, nothing was mentioned by her on The View regarding the complicated situation.
