Holly Madison is thrilled to be a mother to her daughter Rainbow Aurora, but she may not have realized just how tough a job motherhood actually is.
The former The Girls Next Door star gave birth to her daughter in March 2013, with whom she shares with her husband, promoter Pasquale Rotella, but she’s revealed that being a mom and trying to balance work has not been a walk in the park. In fact, it’s been very difficult.

“Oh my God. Motherhood is way more difficult than I thought,” the star revealed to InTouch Weekly, the Daily Mail reports.
“You really have to manage your time. Plus, all these horrible scenarios — like a baby falling off a balcony — go through my head,” Madison confessed.
And while her daughter has been the center of her universe ever since she gave birth, it’s reasons such as those horrible scenarios, and the fact that the former Playboy model didn’t realize just how demanding the role of motherhood is, that will make her wait before she has baby No. 2.

“Just having [Rainbow] is enough!” she explained. “We really want to give her a sibling, but I need a little time. We’ll start to think about it next year.”
Madison also wouldn’t really have enough time to devote to another tiny tot now because her show at the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay hotel called 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque is taking off, and we’re expecting her to become very, very successful.
