Malala Yousafzai is the teenage Pakistani girl who was shot in the head in 2012 by the Taliban after she began fighting for the education of women. Malala, who is now 17, has become an unlikely hero and has begun her campaign to inspire women and teens across the world.
According to E! News, Bieber and Malala recently took to FaceTime to chat with each other, and the Biebs posted a photo on Instagram to share the news of their conversation.
“Just got to FaceTime with Malala Yousafzai,” Bieber wrote with the photo. “She has such an incredible story. I can’t wait to meet her in person and talk about how I can support her and the @malalafund. #love.”
