Remember when Taylor Swift put on some fake glasses and tied her hair back in a ponytail for her music video, “You Belong With Me”? Well, the singer is taking the nerdiness up a notch, this time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Swift looks practically unrecognizable in the 40-second promo she released for her upcoming “Ew!” segment on The Tonight Show. In the clip, the 24-year-old is donning little to no makeup, oversized glasses and teeth complete with braces and an overbite. What really sells the performance, however, is Swift’s voice in the video. She is scary good at that nasally, awkward accent!
The “Ew!” skit involves Fallon dressing up as a blond girl named Sara complete with the lisping and shrieking of a teenager, who gets grossed out by everything, as the name of the segment would suggest.

In the promo clip from Swift, the singer also transforms herself to become the character Natalie, who really wants to be a part of Sara’s “Ew!” show.
“Hey Sara, it’s Natalie. ‘Member me? Our moms were best friends in college,” says Swift as Natalie in the promo video. “So, I’m really excited because my mom said that we’re going to come visit you and your mom and your dad. And I heard that you have that television show called ‘Ew!’ And so that maybe that I could be on it is what I was thinking.”

Swift is far from the first celebrity to hang with Sara. Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Lindsay Lohan and Will Ferrell have all made appearances with her, among others.
Something tells us super-cool Sara will not take kindly to awkward and approval-seeking Natalie.
Natalie will make her big appearance on “Ew!” this Wednesday, Aug. 13, on The Tonight Show. Watch the full promo video of Swift as Natalie below.
