There was much excitement when the news broke in July that Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello were dating, and while the actress’ Modern Family co-stars have joked about her romance and gushed about her happiness, Vergara has now finally broken the silence on her man, too.
During a recent interview with Extra, the Colombian beauty gushed about her newfound happiness with the True Blood star.

“You know, I’m just having a great time,” Vergara said. “It’s a special time in my life, and I’m trying not to think too much about it. It’s something very new, so we will see what happen.”
We’re so happy for Vergara, who found love with her new man shortly after she split from Nick Loeb. And it’s not just the star and her co-stars who approve of her new boyfriend, her mother does also!

“What is there not to approve of?” Vergara quipped when asked if Mama Vergara approved of her new man, who she recently met during his trip to Miami, Florida.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson also previously confessed that he approves of Manganiello.
“I will say that they’re extremely comfortable around one another and that’s a sign of them just having a really nice time,” he told E! News. “I think he’s a really good guy.”

And as for Manganiello? Well, apparently Vergara is his dream girl, with a source previously revealing to Us Weekly, “Sofia is Joe’s dream girl. He’s been smitten with her for years. He’s always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far.”
