Ashlee Simpson is counting down the days until she becomes a married woman for the second time. And to celebrate the fact that she’ll soon be married to Evan Ross, the singer recently enjoyed a bohemian pool party.
Jessica Simpson was kind enough to throw her baby sister a super cool bridal shower at her Los Angeles, California, mansion over the weekend.

“Someone was on hand to help all the guests make flower wreaths,” an insider revealed to People. “The bridesmaids picked a throwback photo to decorate the cake.”
And a throwback photo it was indeed. According to the mag, this is the photo of the cake.

Ashlee and her The Hunger Games: Mockingjay actor beau got engaged in March, and they reportedly are preparing to tie the knot at the mansion of his mother Diana Ross in Greenwich, Connecticut, on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Ross previously gushed to E! News about how he can’t wait to get married to his lady.
“We just want to be married. We’re in love,” he said. “This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I’m young, but the same time, I’ve lived a different life than most and I can’t think of a happier moment.”
Despite the fact that it was Ashlee’s bridal shower, the Employee of the Month actress may have stolen the show because she looked incredible in her black costume, which she shared a photo of via Instagram on Monday.
