Cage fighter Jon Koppenhaver, who goes by War Machine in the ring, is accused of viciously beating his porn star ex-girlfriend, Christy Mack, before going on the lam. He tweeted a statement claiming he’s “not a bad guy” and seemed to imply he acted in self-defense, saying he “ended up fighting for [his] life.”
Police say Koppenhaver showed up unannounced at Mack’s Las Vegas home, where he found her with a male friend and attacked them both. Mack posted graphic photos of her battered body to social media Tuesday, along with an emotional statement describing the attack. She’s recovering from severe injuries, including 18 broken bones in her face, a fractured rib, a badly injured leg, several lesions from a knife and a ruptured liver.

Koppenhaver is wanted by Las Vegas police on seven charges, including battery, domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for his arrest.
Chapman, who is best known for his canceled reality show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, says fans called for his help in finding Koppenhaver almost immediately.
“We heard about it right away,” he told the website, mmamania.com. “And there was a couple of people who requested that we get involved so, that’s what I do for a living.”
Chapman currently stars on the CMT reality series, Dog and Beth, where he helps bail bondsmen track down wanted criminals. He hashtagged one of his tweets with a plug for the show.
Koppenhaver is believed to be in the San Diego area. Chapman is asking fans to submit information on his whereabouts via his website.
