We don’t often see Taylor Swift and “nerdy” in the same sentence, but the country star has just made the most awkward, hilarious skit with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Swifty didn’t look at all like her glamorous self when she appeared on the late-night TV show on Wednesday, wearing glasses, braces, a raccoon sweater and sporting a crazy hairdo for her character in Fallon’s popular Ew! series. The series has previously featured other famous faces, including Zac Efron, Emma Stone, Channing Tatum, Lindsay Lohan and even Michelle Obama.

Fallon often makes his guests dress up as unattractive girls and get into dorky situations, and he was pleased to reprise his role as brace-face Sara, with new companion Swift playing 13-year-old Natalie, a new friend from out of town.
“My mom hasn’t let me watch television since Miley Cyrus twerked,” nerdy Natalie revealed. She also told Fallon’s alter ego that she “likes to eat apricots” and that she has “a Band-Aid collection.” Ew!

The pair also decided to dance along to Swift’s real-life BFF Selena Gomez’s track, “Come & Get It,” in the middle of the sketch, which was completely bizarre, but also awesome.
“I am going to perform a dance to my favorite song, ‘Come & Get It,’ by Selena Gomez,” Fallon said, before the two danced about and mimicked Gomez’s video.
