Anna Kendrick ups fave star status by attending WWE event

As if Anna Kendrick couldn’t get any more fabulous, the Pitch Perfect 2 star showed up with fellow cast mates to Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam wrestling event.

Kendrick surprised fans by popping up at the big show with costars Brittany Snow, Adam DeVine, Kelley Jakle and Chrissie Fit, plus she also brought along Teen Wolf hottie Tyler Hoechlin, Uproxx reported. The group sat front and center, where Kendrick wholeheartedly cheered the wrestlers on, and later posed for pics with fans backstage.

Apparently, Kendrick is pals with C.J. Perry, aka wrestling star “The Ravishing Russian” Lana, who happens to be in the Pitch Perfect films. To mark the event, Perry posted a photo of herself with Kendrick and company with a funny caption saying, “My Bellas are scared of my Russian Discipline. @annakendrick47 @brittnowhuh @kelleyjakle chrissiefit #SummerSlam #WWE #PP2.

Additionally, Kendrick did some event photo posting of her own, sharing an awesome picture of herself with her crew walking backstage with their arms around one another.

It is not known exactly how Kendrick is connected to Hoechlin, but the two appeared quite chummy posing for another backstage photo that included their whole entourage. The Teen Wolf star was smiling from ear to ear and had his arm around the Up in the Air actress as she stood close to him.

This wasn’t the first time the pair hung out together, however. The two friends had another fun night out in London last year along with some of Hoechlin’s Teen Wolf costars. Linden Ashby posted a photo on Twitter of Kendrick and Hoechlin along with their friends, Brittany Snow, JR Bourne and Susan Walters.

“It seems like months ago not days,” Linden captioned the picture. “The London crew comes a calling.”
