Star Wars fans be warned! Major spoilers ahead as Star Wars: Episode VII plot points are confirmed and the film’s villains are finally revealed.
It looks like the script leaks SheKnows reported in July may be accurate, with several websites detailing the film’s plot as beginning, visually at least, where The Empire Strikes Back left off: with Luke’s severed hand (still clutching his light saber) falling through space onto a desert planet.
Episode VII‘s heroes, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, discover that severed hand and saber some 30 years later and, realizing some Jedi out there must be missing them, set out on a quest to unite the relics with their owner.

This is where the pair apparently runs into Han Solo and Chewbacca, who, according to Badass Digest, are piloting an Imperial Super Star Destroyer. What the what? Those reports seem to be confirmed by recently revealed concept art showing an Imperial rank insignia on Han’s winter jacket.
Han and Chewie are rumored to join the duo in tracking down Luke, who has apparently been missing for the last 30 years. No news yet on what could cause such a falling-out between Luke and Han that he and Chewie wouldn’t have tried finding Luke before now, but (and this is where the really big spoiler happens) according to Latino Review, Luke has been held prisoner by Episode VII‘s master villains, the Inquisitors.
If their creepy name sounds familiar, it must be because you are one of the eager fans holding your breath for the upcoming animated series, Star Wars Rebels, which is being produced by Lucasfilm/Lucasfilm Animation.
First look at J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter>>
Star Wars Rebels is set 16 years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and five years before Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The show will follow a ragtag group of rebels that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost, after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council, and it centers on these mysterious new villains.
According to Latino Review, the Inquisitors are an ancient group whose purpose is to protect the Sith Order. These ultra-creepy baddies have apparently been around since the Sith Order formed, making the organization seriously old and possibly even responsible for the events of the first six films.

And, are you ready for this? Episode VII will reportedly include flashbacks that show the Inquisitors working with Darth Vader himself.
Yikes! We’re excited.
While we wait for more story details to unfold, at least we can drool over these leaked photos of Episode VII‘s Stormtrooper helmets.

The pictures were confirmed as legit, explaining that the ultra-modern new suits are for Snowtroopers who will be brandishing flamethrowers, and are apparently not the only new trooper variant: a third, chrome Stormtrooper with the ability to cloak itself will also be seen in the film.

We’re still waiting to find out where Princess Leia has been all this time — are she and Han Solo still together? Has she sensed her brother’s been captured all these years? And we’d love more information about the mysterious mechanical hand seen in this J.J. Abrams tweet.
