Neil Young and Willie Nelson are teaming up for one good cause. On Tuesday, Aug. 19, the music staples announced that they’ll partner together for a benefit concert in September to protest a proposed Keystone XL pipeline that is scheduled to cut through the famed Ponca Trail of Tears in Nebraska.

The daytime outdoor show, which is scheduled for Sept. 27, is called Harvest the Hope and will occur at a farm owned by the Art and Helen Tanderup family outside Neligh, Nebraska. All proceeds from the show will be donated to various organizations, including Bold Nebraska, the Indigenous Environmental Network and the Cowboy and Indian Alliance. If you want tickets to their benefit concert, grab them while they’re hot. Seats for the Harvest the Hope show go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Bold Nebraska’s official website for only $50.

Not only would the pipeline have an impact on the historical ground, but it might cause detrimental effects on the local nearby farms as the pipeline could result in contaminated groundwater. Organizer Bold Nebraska is applauding those farmers who have refused to sell their land to companies like TransCanada, which would make their own use of the land and water for profit. In a statement, director Jane Kleeb said, “Now we will have the honor to have music legends Neil Young and Willie Nelson stand with us against this risky pipeline that threatens our water and our livelihoods. It is our hope that President Obama in the end stands with us over Big Oil.”
