French Montana has been blasted for wanting to “capitalize” on his relationship with Khloé Kardashian, but the rapper says that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Montana said his interview with Billboard was taken out of context.
“I was so mad about that,” he told Access Hollywood Live. “If I’m with somebody, I’m not with them for that reason.”
In fact, Montana said he is not a big fan of what his girlfriend does for a living, but he is happy to play along because it makes her happy. He explained that, “I hate being on camera. Sometimes you’re not ready for it and it’s too much pressure, but I [also] love it. But I hate how it happened — all the commotion.”
Montana has been through a lot in his life and he said his near-death experience (he was shot in the head in 2003) helped him understand what really matters.
“After you go through something like that, you ain’t making no mistakes,” he said. “You calculate every move you do. I just feel like it was karma. When you do negative stuff in your life, it always comes back to you. I feel like that’s what it was.”

Kardashian has spoken about her love for her new beau and it looks like Montana feels the same about her. He added, “She supports me with everything I do. When it comes to her career, I don’t think about it. If she needs me to do something, I do it.”
