The Italian star’s rep confirmed her happy news to Us Weekly, but she was also spotted going about her daily activities in Los Angeles, California, this week, with a massive diamond bauble on her left ring finger.

And Canalis made no attempt to conceal her very large diamond sparkler! The pair have not been dating for that long, according to the Daily Mail. The couple’s romance only started up around the end of 2013, following the model’s split from Jackass star Steve-O.

We’re thrilled for the beauty and her beau, but here’s where the story gets a little odd. Canalis is George Clooney‘s ex, and while the world is eagerly anticipating the most eligible bachelor’s upcoming September nuptials to his human rights lawyer fianceé Amal Alamuddin, Canalis and Perri will also be having their wedding in September with Italy as their chosen location.
A source revealed to Us Weekly that the Dancing With the Stars alum and her fiancé will be headed down the aisle on Sept. 14 in Sardinia, Italy, while Clooney and Alamuddin will marry this fall near Lake Como, Italy.

Of course, it’s all just a coincidence, and both Clooney and Canalis have put their 18-month relationship behind them since their split back in June 2011.
“She’s happy for him,” the insider tells the mag of Canalis and Clooney. “They have both moved on to find their own happiness.”
