It’s the end of an era for a trio of cast members on Discovery’s MythBusters. On Thursday night, it was announced that it was the final episode for Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara.
After the news was released at the end of the show, the three stars took to Twitter to thank the fans and the show for an incredible 10 years.

The hosts of the show, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, released a retrospective video tribute to the trio on the Discovery Channel website.
Hyneman explained, “This next season we’re going back to our origins with just Adam and me.”

Savage continued, “We’re gonna take a brief moment to thank you guys for your incredible work over the last 10 years. You’ve given literally your blood, sweat and tears in the name of science and it has been a total pleasure not only to work with you but to call you our friends.”
“We wish you the very best of luck, and thank you,” finished Hyneman.

Discovery also issued a statement about the end of Byron, Belleci and Imahara’s tenure.
The network said, “Kari, Tory and Grant have been an incredibly important part of MythBusters for over a decade. From explosions to car crashes to even more explosions, this trio has helped shape MythBusters into the Emmy-nominated series it is today. Everyone at Discovery wants to thank them for their tireless work busting almost 1000 myths, and we wish them all the best on their future endeavors.”
