Remember when Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Bryan Cranston made out at the Emmys?

The Primetime Emmys is a happy event for most. Stars get to catch up with their famous friends, actors win trophies that could change their careers, and viewers get to love (or hate) on all the red carpet fashion. But 2014 was a year to go down in the books. Not only was a good time had by all, but if you don’t remember — and it’s a real shame if you don’t — Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston totally made out. Right there in front of the Emmys stage for everyone to see.

Today, the two actors are famous for roles on different shows (Louis-Dreyfus in Veep and Cranston in Breaking Bad), but they actually go way, way back. Cranston appeared as dentist, Tim Whatley, on Seinfeld back in the early ’90s.

Now, you didn’t see it in that clip, but Louis-Dreyfus and Cranston actually had a kissing scene (because of a label maker if that refreshes your memory). So, for old time’s sake, they decided to make out once again at the 2014 Emmy Awards — well, one of them did, at least.

Louis-Dreyfus and Cranston first took the stage to present an award. Louis-Dreyfus gushed about Cranston’s Breaking Bad role, but seemed to have no idea they’d appeared on screen together before — or at least, that’s how she acted for their little skit.

But when Louis-Dreyfus was heading to the stage again later in the night to accept her award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Veep, Cranston grabbed her and tried to make her remember with a kiss. It was intense and it was a success! The kiss refreshed Louis-Dreyfus’ memory. Watch it all go down, here.

It’s definitely a moment that goes down in Emmy history as one of the best. We’d love to see some other old flames reunite at the Emmys this year! Don’t miss the show and all our coverage this Sunday, Sept. 18.
