It won’t be long before Kelly Rowland and her manager Tim Witherspoon become first-time parents, and the singer certainly cannot wait to become a mommy, as evident in her latest comments about her pregnancy.
Rowland married Witherspoon during a secret wedding in Costa Rica in May, and she was happy to chat about her pregnancy with their son when Access Hollywood‘s Liz Hernandez caught up with her on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

However, Rowland did hint at the fact that she’s had some pregnancy shockers.
“Some stuff I can’t mention on camera! I cannot mention it on camera,” Rowland laughed. “But, it’s definitely been a beautiful ride.”
The former Destiny’s Child star stunned on the night of the VMAs and was proud to show off her baby bump in a figure-hugging, floor-length Kaufman Franco pink sequin gown. The star not only looked great, but she was in a great mood and revealed that when her son is born, he will have plenty of playmates (hopefully former bandmate Beyoncé’s daughter, the gorgeous little Blue Ivy, will be one of them).

“All of my friends are over the moon. They are so excited,” she said. “And of course some of them have kids, and some of them don’t, but for the most part they are like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t wait!'”
We suspect that the “Dirty Laundry” singer and her hubby will make great parents, and their son is sure to be shown a lot of love. Congratulations to the happy couple and we can’t wait until their tiny tot is born.
