Ray J landed in trouble with the law earlier this year after he was busted at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, after allegedly getting into an altercation in the bar area. However, Ray J’s legal headaches are now almost over.
The “I Hit It First” hit maker pleaded no contest to trespassing charges in court on Thursday, TMZ reports.

Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., was initially charged with four misdemeanor counts, including sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
However, the other charges for sexual battery, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest will all be dismissed after he pleads no contest to the misdemeanor trespassing charge, TMZ reports. That means he’s a pretty lucky guy because he’s gotten off the hook relatively scot-free!
Judge Edward Moreton sentenced the singer to three years’ probation and 50 hours of community service, and Kim Kardashian’s notorious ex-boyfriend was also ordered to attend alcohol therapy sessions and anger management classes.

Additionally, Moreton ordered him to stay away from the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the place where officers responded to the sexual battery complaint that Ray J had allegedly grabbed a woman’s butt.
The other charges for vandalism, battery and resisting arrest charges stemmed from what happened after the police had arrived at the hotel.
In addition to avoiding the hotel, his probation, community service and therapy sessions, Ray J also will have to pay for the side window of the police car that he smashed at the time of his arrest in May.
