Dancing With the Stars offers up eclectic cast for Season 19

Get ready to do the Carlton dance! On Thursday, the Season 19 cast of Dancing With the Stars was revealed live on Good Morning America and former The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro is joining the show.

Ribeiro is no stranger to the dance floor. As a kid, he starred on Broadway with Hinton Battle in The Tap Dance Kid and in an iconic Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson. He’s not the only one with a dance background, though. Also joining the cast this season is Back to the Future‘s Lea Thompson, who trained at the American Ballet Theatre as a kid.

Other familiar faces stepping out onto that ballroom floor include Antonio Sabato Jr., Olympian Lolo Jones, UFC fighter Randy Couture and Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish. All four of these names were spoiled on the internet a week ago. It’s hard to keep a secret about the cast without social media ruining the surprise.

What might be a surprise to longtime viewers is that a few of the names might not be familiar to them. YouTube star Bethany Mota is widely known to teens with more than 7 million subscribers on her channel. Fashionistas will enjoy the cartwheel-loving Betsey Johnson and reality show fans will have Duck Dynasty‘s Sadie Robertson to watch this season.

Other names rounding out the list are comedian Tommy Chong, talk show host Tavis Smiley, NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett.

The show premieres on Monday, Sept. 15, with a two-night special for the first two weeks. The first couple will be eliminated on the Tuesday, Sept. 16, show, so the cast needs to put their best foot forward on the season premiere episode.
