Threepeat! Sofia Vergara is TV’s highest-paid actress again

You won’t believe how much money Sofia Vergara made this year. Hint: It’s more than any man on TV.

The Modern Family star raked in an unbelievable $37 million, beating out Ashton Kutcher’s $26 million, according to a list compiled by Forbes. This is the third time Vergara has held the top spot on the list, and it’s not all series cash. While Vergara does pull $325,000 per episode (as does the rest of the cast), most of her money comes from endorsements and licensing deals like Diet Pepsi, Head & Shoulders, CoverGirl and AT&T.

The curvaceous beauty — who raised eyebrows and angered some viewers with her controversial appearance at the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards — also enjoys a 12-year deal with Kmart and is the cofounder of Latin World Entertainment with longtime business partner Luis Balaguer.

Our favorite TV cop Mariska Hargitay took the No. 2 spot with $13 million, much of which came from her cut of the syndication of Law & Order: SVU, now in its 16th year on the air.

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco came in at No. 3 with an estimated $11 million in earnings with help from her Priceline and Toyota endorsement deals.

Julianna Margulies, Ellen Pompeo and Cobie Smulders are tied for fourth place with each earning around $10 million.
