Kanye West keeps his Grammys in his sock drawer

So, it turns out Kanye West is not a massive show-off in his own home. Go figure.

The rapper’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, said during an interview with BBC Radio 1 that her hubby doesn’t dig having his trophies on display for all to see.

“Kanye’s not big on putting his Grammys up and stuff like that. They’re literally in the laundry room, like just randomly. Or a sock drawer and all around,” Kim said during the interview. “So I’ve gathered them all and maybe I can talk him into putting them in one of our offices. He’s not into awards being all around the house — he’s not a show-off person.”

Who knows where Kim displays her brand-new GQ Woman of the Year award, but we’re willing to bet probably not under socks. She dished about that award during the interview, too, saying she was “really excited” to be honored as Woman of the Year and explained that a Woman of the Year is “someone that’s career driven and not lazy, and that’s what’s most important.”

And Kim took a few minutes to dish about married life with her husband. She said that, despite her and Kanye’s busy schedules and a new baby, they make sure to work in time for each other.

“I love being a wife. I love being a mom,” she said. “It’s been so much fun. He came out here with me and then after this we go to Australia, so it’s fun that he can be on tour and I can do promoting for my clothing line, Kardashian Kollection,” Kim said. “We really figured out how to work out our schedules really well and we really support each other, so it’s been fun and I love when our schedules blend together. I think we’re just making a conscious effort to make that happen. He knew I was coming to London, so he’ll come with me and we just really make a point to spend that time together.”
