The Graceland Season 2 finale is full of intensity and shocking moments, but nothing will prepare you for the last 60 seconds.
This season has been full of scenes that have blown my mind. From Johnny’s dealings with the Solano family to Briggs and Charlie finding out that she was pregnant, and, of course, everything that has happened with Mike, it would seem that there couldn’t possibly be anything else they could do to shock me.
I am very happy to say that I was completely wrong.

Charlie’s precious package
In the final seconds of last week’s episode, Charlie was taken away by Amber and some of her friends. I wish I could say that that was the worst of what Charlie faces, but sadly that is only the beginning. Knowing that she’s pregnant makes everything that happens to her in the finale beyond intense, and there were actually moments where I wanted to cover my eyes to avoid seeing what was coming.
Briggs’ secret keeps on moving
That darn little cassette tape sure has been making the rounds this season, but if you thought the buck stopped with Charlie, you would be wrong. The tape isn’t done traveling yet, and the next hand it lands in will decide Briggs’ fate once and for all. As for Briggs, he’s got a lot on his plate in this episode, between the love of his life (and the mother of his unborn child) missing and his continuing mission with Sid.

Family drama for Johnny
When we last saw Johnny, he was looking at a briefcase full of cash, thanks to Lucia. As you can imagine, her actions put into play a whole series of very bad things. She did it with the best of intentions, but that suitcase and what’s in it will end up being the bane of existence for quite a few characters. It also sets off some family drama, the likes of which hasn’t been seen on the show yet.
Mike plus Sid equals pure insanity
In the finale, a lot of what happens boils down to Mike and Sid. Once Mike set his sights on the dirty cop, nothing was going to stop him from taking him down. Mike managed to hit Sid where it hurt when they did the bank job, but don’t think for one second that Sid is going to let that go without a fight.
The interesting thing about what happens between these two characters is that you can see some similarities between them. We already knew how far Mike was willing to go when he burned Lena’s body to keep his investigation going. Sid proves that he’s willing to go just as far to take down Mike. Actually, check that, what Sid does is way beyond what Mike did. In fact, all I could think as I was watching it happen was, “This guy is insane!”
The last minute of this episode quite literally left me gasping for air. All I can say is that, in the end, it will be Mike’s own actions that bring on the tragedy that happens in the final seconds.
