Well, thanks Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea for sinking another nail in the coffin of the feminist movement with your “Booty” video (a coffin we thought had already been lowered into the ground with Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video).
Right on the heels of Nicki Minaj‘s inane “Anaconda” video featuring her fake ass from every possible angle comes Jennifer Lopez‘s new “Booty” video featuring Iggy Azalea. Here are a couple of points we’d like to make about the content of this butt fest — before you watch it.

We’re not prudes. We enjoy a big can as much as the next person. And for those of us naturally endowed with a big backside in our Southern Hemisphere, we owe Kim Kardashian, Lopez and Minaj a debt of gratitude for making freakishly large butts a thing.
Chris Judd said his wedding to Jennifer Lopez was a circus >>
With that said, this video doesn’t just offend us from a visual standpoint, where JLo and Azalea set the feminist movement back 50 years with four minutes and 16 seconds of bouncing butts. It offends us from an intellectual and auditory standpoint as well. Unless you’re an 18-year-old male, the content is so mind numbing it actually hurts.
This video is so incredibly stupid (harsh, yes, but true) that it should be used to gather criminal confessions. Forget cold dark interrogation rooms with watered-down coffee. Stream this video on a loop until the criminal can’t take it anymore and cracks. The uninspired lyrics will have them saying anything to get out of the interrogation room.
JLo and Iggy Azalea touch butts, the internet explodes (VIDEO) >>
Azalea probably thought doing a song and video with the most overexposed celebrity in pop culture would enhance her career. Wrong. As a rap artist, she should have known better than to collaborate with the most vanilla, commercialized, mediocre talent in the industry. Lopez is a hard worker — no one can take that away from her. She’s frickin’ everywhere. But there is a part of us that wishes Lopez would slow down and focus on making music that we want to hear and videos that don’t make our eyes and ears bleed.
In summary, all we can say in response to this ass-inine video is let the parodies begin.
