There has been more than one celebrity over the years who have had a scary encounter with an intruder, but Keanu Reeves has proved that he’s not one to be messed with.

The Matrix star was sleeping in his Hollywood Hills, California, home on Monday, Sept. 15 when he was awoken around 4 a.m. by noises coming from inside his library, TMZ reports. Reeves went to check what was going on when he came face-to-face with a female intruder who was sitting on his chair.
While most of us would completely freak out at the thought of having someone breaking into our house, Reeves somehow managed to keep his cool. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources recalled the incident and how calmly Reeves had dealt with it.

“Keanu calmly approached her and began speaking to her,” the publication reports. The woman, who is believed to be in her mid-’40s, then apparently explained that she was in his house so that she could meet him.
“He very calmly called 911 and… told the dispatcher cops needed to roll quick,” TMZ reports.
The police took the woman into custody and she was taken for a psych evaluation.

While Reeves is able to hold his own, the really scary part of this story is that his house — which is in a swanky neighborhood with Leonardo DiCaprio for a neighbor — is also apparently “built like a fort” so it’s virtually impossible to get into.
We bet the Speed actor is going to tighten up on his security after this scary incident.
