Sarah Palin took to Facebook on Friday, Sept. 19, to let the world know that she is still a proud mama, regardless of the fact that her daughter has just been involved in a drunken brawl.

“I love my Bristol! My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you’ll ever meet,” Palin wrote, along with posting four photos of her and her family. “I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids’ defense of family makes my heart soar!”
Palin made no mention of the fight in her post, but it is believed that the message is in defense of her children, after the news broke that they had been involved in a brawl at an Alaskan snowmobile party. Palin added that they “have experienced so many things (liberal media-driven) that may have crushed others without a strong foundation of faith.”

As previously reported, local blogger Amanda Coyne wrote that Track Palin allegedly got involved in an altercation with one of his sister Willow’s ex-boyfriends, and Bristol ended up punching the owner of the property, Chris Olds, in the face.
Coyne recalled the incident in her blog, writing, “At this point, he’s up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, ‘This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!'”
