David Hasselhoff tells how he really feels about Justin Bieber

David Hasselhoff said Justin Bieber is a “cool” dude after the pair got together for a secret collaboration.

After recently working on a video project with Bieber, the Hoff praised the controversial Canadian star, saying he had a great time with him on the set, People magazine reported.

“We had a lot of fun, and he’s a cool guy,” Hasselhoff told the magazine while attending Tony Hawk’s 11th Annual Stand Up for Skateparks Benefit in Beverly Hills. “You’ll hear more about it, but we’re just keeping it quiet because it’s really a cool video, and we had a blast.”

The project the pair worked on is for Bieber’s duet with Cody Simpson, which Hasselhoff almost gave away when he tweeted — and then deleted — too much information on the surprise. “What a great day @CodySimpson @justinbieber Emile our director for new video … singing t shirts for charity! RESPECT!” he wrote.

Apparently, there will be a slew of dogs on the video, so the Baywatch legend also posted a photo of himself giving a tease of what’s to come.

The image is a hilarious shot of Hasselhoff in his iconic lifeguard TV show uniform laying out by a pool with a big bulldog pal, both wearing matching sunglasses. Oh, and a shark floatie is also seen in the water behind the hysterical duo.

“Me and my bud,” Hasselhoff captioned the photo.

Confirming the not-so-secret-anymore video project, Bieber also tweeted about the collaboration with the 62-year-old actor on Sunday night, “Coming soon new music video @CodySimpson @DavidHasselhoff.”

No word on when the video will be released yet, but since they’ve already wrapped production, it’s prudent to say it will be out in the very near future. So, stay tuned.
