Kris Jenner filed for divorce on Monday, citing the standard “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending their marriage.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Kris Jenner requested joint custody of 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. She’s the only one from the Kardashian-Jenner family bunch who is still a minor.

The two told E! News that while they were living separately and much happier for it, they “will always have much love and respect for each other.” The two pledged to make their family their number one priority, even though they are no longer together.

Kris and Bruce Jenner seem to be putting their words to action, as well. Though Kris Jenner noted the date of their separation as June 1, 2013, the two celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on Apr. 21 this year.

“Happy Anniversary to one of the most amazing men I know!!!!!” Kris Jenner wrote to Bruce Jenner.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars also spent quite a bit of time together post-split. Bruce Jenner has been living in Malibu, instead of the family home in Calabasas, California.

Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner have two kids together, while both have four additional children each from their previous marriages. Prior to Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner was married to Robert Kardashian, hence the show’s title name.

Though none of the Kardashian children have yet to comment on the divorce news, Kim Kardashian did break her silence on the separation at the beginning of the year. According to Perez Hilton, she admitted, “It wasn’t a surprise, actually. They have been kind of living like friends for a really long time. So I just feel like, you want your parents to be happy. I think it was more awkward for them to live together and just not sleep in the same room.”
