Mike Tyson may have a reputation for being a fighter, but deep down, he seems like a normal guy — and maybe even a hero.

Tyson was reportedly driving along an interstate in Las Vegas when he witnessed a crash and stopped to help the victim. Motorcyclist Ryan Chesley told the Associated Press that he was riding around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when a cab cut him off and he crashed.
The rider said the next thing he knew, he was looking up at the famous boxer.
“He thought he was hallucinating,” Chesley’s lawyer said. “He thought he was in some other world.”
Tyson was apparently protecting Chesley and yelling at everyone to not touch him. Chesley’s lawyer said that as soon as paramedics arrived, Tyson “just left, like some kind of superhero.”
Steve Lott, Tyson’s personal assistant, told the AP that Chesley sent a fruit basket and a note that said, “Thank you so much for looking over me after my accident. It has to be the most reassuring thing in the world to have Mike Tyson telling people not to touch me.”

Tyson isn’t always on the positive side of the news. Just a few weeks ago, he lost his temper during a TV interview in Toronto. But it’s clear that isn’t the only side of him.
Chesley suffered a torn ligament and broken bones, but that didn’t stop him from taking a cell phone pic of Tyson before he left.
