The ridiculously gorgeous star had to cure some residual puppy fever, it seems, because he shared a snap Saturday of a ridiculously cute puppy. Unfortunately, his shirt was on in the pic.
“I got the ‘get an iPhone get a dog deal,'” he tweeted with the photo of a very curious black and white pup. “Anyone else?”

And now, People reveals the puppy is a way of preparing for fatherhood — Foley is expecting his third baby with his wife, Marika Dominczyk. Foley joked at an event that he’s “so tired” already that the new baby may as well be accompanied by a puppy.
“My new motto is, ‘Just give me the mess.’ Just throw it all my way. I’ll take it, it doesn’t matter,” the Scandal star joked to People. “You’re never ready, especially for number three,” he added.

The puppy, a Lab mix that the Foley clan named Frankie, was adopted from the pound. Foley’s two kids, 4-year-old daughter, Malina, and 2-year-old son, Keller, helped pick her out, but that didn’t stop them from having some mixed feelings about the new addition.
“My daughter is in love with her, picks her up, carries her everywhere,” Foley said. “My son won’t step on the ground because he’s terrified of her.”
Luckily, it sounds like Foley will be able to spend plenty of time at home helping to ease the transition.
“I’m so fortunate that this job affords me time to be with my kids,” he said. “I’m lucky enough to spend more time with my kids than the normal father… at least I tell my wife that when she gets mad at me.”

Here’s hoping the kids take to the new human baby that’s on the way better than they took to the puppy.
