Joe Giudice isn’t being sentenced until Oct. 2, but the Real Housewives of New Jersey star knows he’s worth a lot to Bravo before he possibly heads off to jail. According to RadarOnline.com, the TV personality is asking for $30,000 to appear on the reunion show at the end of the season.
The taping is expected to occur three days after his and wife Teresa’s sentencing.

A source told the gossip site that Joe is “hopeful that he wouldn’t be remanded into custody on Oct. 2, and will be given a date to turn himself in at a later time. After the Christmas holidays would be ideal. But being fully aware that Bravo needs both he and Teresa to appear on the reunion, Joe is demanding that he get $30,000. If Bravo doesn’t want to pay him as much, he just won’t be there.”
Bravo is also very aware that the family is downsizing their lifestyle in preparation for a possible prison sentence for both parents. They are not only selling their mansion for $3.999 million, but also their Jersey shore house.
Even though Joe wants a big payday, he doesn’t care if he misses the reunion show altogether. The insider continued, “It actually would be a relief for Joe if he didn’t have to appear on the reunion show, because it always involves so much drama.”

For Teresa, there is even more at stake, because Bravo TV has an interesting clause in her contract: they get the first interview.
Another show insider shared, “Andy [Cohen] has the first right of refusal under Teresa’s contract with Bravo…Obviously, Andy and Bravo know this will be ratings gold, and wouldn’t pass up the chance to interview Teresa one-on-one, after she is sentenced on Oct. 2.”
The sentencing of the reality couple is being filmed for the next season of RHONJ.
