Chris Pratt and his wife Anna Faris are adorable together, and the Guardians of the Galaxy actor is convinced that his marriage was meant to be — and he’s happy to tell the world the reason why.

The pair married in July 2009 and share a son Jack, 2, together, and Pratt revealed during a recent interview with E! News how much he loves his wife and just how similar they are to each other.
“We’re both from the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. I grew up 20 minutes from her. I played football on her high school field,” Pratt revealed about their similar childhoods.

Yet it’s not just their childhoods that have been similar; their careers have also mimicked each other in some ways, and both have starred in horror spoofs.
“Mine was not quite nearly as successful as Scary Movie, but I was in a movie called Cursed Part 3…That was my first gig,” Pratt revealed.
Pratt acknowledges these similarities and it’s actually one of the reasons why he thinks that their love is meant to be.

“There are many, many similarities to our lives. It’s one of those things that makes you realize things are meant to be and they’re working out the way they’re supposed to.
“A lot of times, if you date somebody or are married to somebody that’s really similar to yourself, it doesn’t work, but for us it does work because we both happen to be completely in love with ourselves,” the Everwood actor joked. “When I look into her eyes and see my own, it just makes me love her even more.”
