With Kendall Jenner‘s years in the public eye, sometimes it’s easy to forget she is only 18 years old. Kim Kardashian’s little sister is in Milan for Fashion Week, but it isn’t stopping her from doing her civic duty.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 is National Voter Registration Day back in the United States and Jenner decided to register to vote by using Rock the Vote’s mobile app, which allows registering in your district from any location.
According to MTV, more than 65 million adults aged 18-29 will be eligible to vote by Election Day in November 2014.
Jenner has become a (maybe unofficial) spokesperson for Rock the Vote and she even posted a video explaining why it was so important to her to vote.
“I am here in Europe for Fashion Week, but back in the U.S., it is National Voter Registration Day and I’m using Rock the Vote’s new mobile registration tool to register to vote,” Jenner said in the video. “You can, too; just go to rockthevote.com to register so our generation’s voice can be heard this fall.”

Jenner is currently dealing with her parents’ divorce — her mom, Kris Jenner, filed for divorce from her dad, Bruce Jenner, just this week (Kendall posted a throwback pic of her parents on Instagram on Tuesday). But the model has made quite a name for herself in the fashion world and, according to Us Weekly, has walked for Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana during Fashion Week.
