The image depicts both Walker and Diesel standing side by side looking dapper in suits. They’re standing in, what we assume, is a car garage, looking serious.

“I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet,” Diesel wrote on Facebook of the movie-making process following Walker’s death. “We all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come.

Despite his obvious grief, Diesel also seems excited about the upcoming film, praising the trailer, which he said made him “speechless.”

This is far from the first time Diesel has paid homage to Walker since his death. Aside from additional social media postings, the actor spoke on Live! With Kelly and Michael about his close friendship with Walker.

Diesel became emotional as he admitted, “I grew up in the bouncer world and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different. It was someone that we — we grew up in the business together and we became famous together and we represented the biggest franchise together, and he was my partner and it’s a strange thing to — I’ve been acting all my life and they don’t teach you in acting how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they’re in a scene with you.”

Paul Walker died in last November in a car crash during the filming of Fast & Furious 7. Following his death, Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb, stepped in to help film some additional scenes as Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, to effectively conclude the story line.

Fast & Furious 7 was delayed following Walker’s death. It is now scheduled to be released April 2015.
