Did Nick Cannon break up another marriage besides his own?

Soon after Amber Rose announced she was divorcing Wiz Khalifa, the rumor mill started to go crazy.

According to the Daily Mail, Rose and Nick Cannon have been hanging out since she filed for divorce, but their friendship had nothing to do with her and Khalifa’s breakup.

“[Nick] only learned about Amber’s domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he signed her on as a client,” a source told the Daily Mail. “That’s when Nick says he found out her marriage was on the rocks and only then did the two share break-up stories.”

Cannon himself is also currently going through a divorce — from his wife, Mariah Carey. It looks like the commonality between Rose and Cannon has brought them close. But friends of Rose’s are confident Cannon wasn’t involved in her divorce, telling E! News that Rose and Khalifa “have had martial issues for some time now.”

“They cared very much for each other but it all happened so fast between having the baby and getting married,” the source said. “They really did not know each other as much as they should have before getting married. They both have not had the best pasts with relationships and when they met each other it was more lust at first sight than love at first sight.”

There have also been rumors that Khalifa cheated on Rose, but neither has confirmed those rumors. Cannon recently became Rose’s manager, but “it is just business and the rumors are false. Nick is just focused on the business side of things with Amber, nothing personal. They have never hooked up.”

In divorce filings, Rose asked for custody of their son, Sebastian.
