Taylor Swift has once again proven to the world that she has a killer sense of humor, and the songstress was quick to poke fun at the internet meme about her.

A picture of Swift from her high school days recently popped up on the social blogging site Tumblr, with the caption claiming that it was actually a girl named Becky.
“This is a picture of my friend Becky,” the caption read. “She used to be a happy, popular girl until one night she snorted marijuana at a party. She died instantly. Please, don’t do marijuana. It’s the most dangerous drug out there. Please don’t wind up like Becky.”

The picture made the rounds on the internet and one user commented, “pretty sure that’s Taylor Swift,” to which another quickly replied, “no its becky,” and that’s how the joke started — and the “Shake It Off” hit maker was quick to catch on.
Swift now has a yellow T-shirt featuring those very words, and she was spotted wearing it on Wednesday night, Sept. 24, in New York City, New York.

Swift also shared a picture of her new T-shirt via her Tumblr, where she joked that she was rethinking the name of her new album, 1989.
“I’m kind of rethinking the album cover,” she captioned the snap.
