According to McAfee, a computer security company, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host is the most dangerous celebrity to search for online. After learning the news, Kimmel addressed his late-night audience and said, “They say that if you search my name… there’s a one in five chance you’ll land on a malicious website.”

Kimmel went on to say that “it’s an honor just to be nominated, but to win this thing [is even better],” and joked that after searching for the No. 2 person on the same list, DJ Armin van Buuren — who he didn’t know — he now had a virus.
Noting that the No. 7 person was Britney Spears, Kimmel said that it is usually a woman who tops the list, and that the only other man to make to No. 1 was Brad Pitt back in 2008.

“So there’s one more thing Brad Pitt and I have in common,” he boasted. “The price of being sexy, I guess.”
But, he admitted that he couldn’t believe he shared something with Pitt since he was always so nerdy in school. “Who would have guessed that a boy who used to carry a briefcase in junior high and played the clarinet would end up being the most dangerous person of 2014? You see that, nerds? Anything is possible.”

Other celebs to make the top of the list include Ciara, who landed at No. 3, Flo Rida at No. 4, Bruce Springsteen at No. 5, Blake Shelton at No. 6, Jon Bon Jovi at No. 8, Chelsea Handler at No. 9 and Christina Aguilera at No. 10. Stars who made the top 50 include Jimmy Fallon, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston.
As the No. 1 person on the list, Kimmel’s name carries a 19 percent chance of getting you on a website that is positive for spyware, a virus or malware, so internet users beware.
