Leo DiCaprio won’t be playing Steve Jobs in a highly anticipated upcoming biopic. In fact, he won’t be playing anyone for a while.

The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday that Leo, who had been in talks to play the late Apple co-founder, has removed himself from the project completely in order to focus his time on The Revenant instead. And, to the heartbreak of everyone everywhere, sources are saying The Revenant will be Leo’s last role for at least a while — it’s been announced that he plans to take a lengthy break from acting.
How long “lengthy” may be is anyone’s guess, but suffice it to say, it’s going to be too long. Whether Leo disappears from the screen for a month or a year or — God forbid — even longer, you’ll need a strong collection of his past films to make it through the break. Here are the movies we’ll be watching until we know every line, just to get our Leo fix.

1. The Departed
Tough guy, Chicago-accented Leo is undeniably hot. The Departed is an absolute must for those things, as well as the incredible plot filled with twists, turns and jump-out-of-your chair surprises. Anyone who says they saw that final scene in the elevator coming is a liar.
2. Shutter Island
For a little bit of tortured, brooding Leo, look no further than Shutter Island. Leo plays a U.S. Marshal grappling with the death of his wife as he’s trapped on an island that’s home to a seriously creepy mental hospital. As expected in a good horror flick, everything goes wrong, including a hurricane that cuts the island off from the mainland and allows the hospital’s violent patients to escape.
3. Inception
Leo is in it and so is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Need I say more?
4. Blood Diamond
Blood Diamond may be the most underrated of all of Leo’s movies. It’s powerfully moving and tackles some serious global social issues. And if Leo’s final scene doesn’t leave you reaching for the tissues, you’re just plain heartless.
5. Titanic
