Aziz Ansari revealed during an interview with Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM show on Monday that he just can’t get any love from Blake Lively. In fact, the comedian claims he sent the actress countless texts, but she just refused to reply. So, what did his texts say?

“I was at some event sometime, and I had heard Blake Lively was a fan and… we talked for a little while, and she was really nice and we started [talking about food]… and we exchanged phone numbers, and I have the text messages I sent with her if you guys want to hear them,” Ansari told Stern.
The Parks and Recreation star then began to read the very first message of his hilarious texts that he sent to the blond beauty. The text, which Ansari swears is real, was dated from April 30, 2011, and it read: “Hey, it’s Aziz. The Animal dinners are over now, unfortunately, but I will show you photos from when I went. It was very tasty. Are you going to the Met Ball?”
Ansari apparently got no response to his very casual message, so he decided to try again a few days later when he saw Lively at the Met Ball.

“I see her there, I’m like, ‘Hey, it’s me.’ And she’s bopping around to all these parties, and she’s with Karl Lagerfeld [so] I text her again at 11 o’clock that night and say, ‘Hey it’s Aziz. Please tell Karl he needs to call me, it’s been too long since we bro’d out,'” Ansari tells Stern — and once again he got no luck, so he tried again with text No. 3!
“I’m going to the Boom Boom Room for that after party. Hopefully, this is your number? Either way, good seeing you,” Ansari’s third text read… and this time he even got a reply.
“Hey, maybe I’ll see you. So weird, Karl was just saying how bummed he was to miss you,” Lively allegedly responded.
This reply obviously gave the funnyman some hope because after a brief run-in with Lively at the after party (where she claimed she had to leave early to catch a flight), he sent her another text.

“I texted her the next day: ‘I feel so bad you had to fly to North Carolina after that party, it must’ve been rough. Karl and I partied at Boom Boom until 7 a.m. Got tacos the next day after and just had a beautiful spa day. Next time we are in the same city, let’s eat delicious food.'”
So, what did the Gossip Girl actress reply this time around? You guessed it: nothing!
“The last message I sent her — and I don’t know why I sent this, but it was December 17, 2011, and I just write, ‘Happy Holidays!’ and then there’s no response,” Ansari said with a laugh. Poor man!
