Nicholas Hoult opens up about his ex JLaw’s nude photos (VIDEO)

Jennifer Lawrence recently made her first comments about the leak of her nude photos when she told Vanity Fair magazine that she was disgusted and called the hack a sex crime. Now, her former boyfriend Nicholas Hoult (who was the original recipient of the raunchy pictures) has broken his silence about what happened to Lawrence.

During a TV appearance on Good Day New York on Thursday to speak about his forthcoming film Young Ones, with director Jake Paltrow, Hoult was cornered by presenters into answering a question about what he thought of Lawrence’s nude photo hack from September.

“Speaking of friends, Jennifer Lawrence, she’s been making a lot of news lately because of the pictures that were hacked, and I think they might have been pictures that were sent to you,” anchor Rosanna Scotto asked the actor.

Hoult responded very diplomatically, saying, “It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world. It’s a shame.”

Is Kristen Stewart dating JLaw’s ex Nicholas Hoult?

The pair dated for three years after meeting on the set of their 2011 film X-Men: First Class. However, they decided to part ways in August, and Lawrence is now involved with Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, although the former couple will once again share the screen in the upcoming 2016 film, X-Men: Apocalypse.

Hoult’s comments come just days after Lawrence opened up about the hack, telling Vanity Fair, “It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting.”

“Every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long-distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you,” she said.
