Kesha has filed a lawsuit against the producer who made her a star, alleging that Dr. Luke’s horrific abuse sent her spiraling into an eating disorder.
In a court filing obtained by TMZ, Kesha says the famed music producer kept her drugged up and repeatedly sexually assaulted her starting when she was just 18 years old. The singer says on one occasion, Dr. Luke forced her to snort drugs before getting on a private jet, then forced himself on her during the flight. Another time, she claims, he forced Kesha to drink with him and then gave her “sober pills.” She later woke up nude in his bed with no memory of how she got there.
According to the lawsuit, “Ms. Sebert immediately called her mother and made a ‘fresh complaint,’ telling her that she was naked in Dr. Luke’s hotel room, she did not know where her clothes were, that Dr. Luke had raped her, and that she needed to go to the emergency room.
“Ms. Sebert later learned that the ‘sober pills’ Dr. Luke had given her were actually a form of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), more commonly known as the date-rape drug, allowing him to bring Ms. Sebert back to his hotel room alone and rape her while she was unconscious,” the lawsuit states.

The singer also described an incident in which she says Dr. Luke physically attacked her at his home in Malibu, causing her to run down the Pacific Coast Highway and hide in the mountains until she felt safe.
The filing asks the judge to let her out of her contract with Dr. Luke due to his reported abuse.
“This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for 10 years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke,” lawyer Mark Geragos told TMZ.

“The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain,” Mark Geragos, the singer’s lawyer, tells TMZ. “Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time.”
Dr. Luke’s lawyer, Christine Lepera, told TMZ that the singer’s lawsuit is “a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements” against her former manager. Luke has responded by filing a countersuit claiming extortion — he says Kesha and her mother fabricated all of their claims and that the singer threatened to spread lies about him unless he released her from her contract.
