Seriously, some people have nothing better to do than to sit behind their keyboards and write nasty comments, and Selena Gomez has had enough of them!
Gomez is usually super sweet, but someone can only take so much negative criticism before they bite back, and during an interview while promoting her new film Rudderless, that’s exactly what she did.

“I get picked on by grown adults all the time,” she recently told E! News. “It’s grown-ups and I don’t get it. It just baffles me. I wish I could just sit them down and say, ‘What were you doing at 15? What were you doing at 18? What were you doing at 21?’ Because I can guarantee you it’s not half of what I’ve done.”
And while Gomez has admitted that she can’t always cope with the effects of fame, she has no plans on letting these internet bullies win nor does she have plans to delete her social media accounts.
Selena Gomez changes her tune about the pressures of fame
“Trust me, it’s hard. I’ve had my moments where I’ve let them get to me, but I refuse to let them win,” she confessed.
“Maybe when I’m older, but I think right now I want to be that person for those girls and for my fans,” she said of taking a break from social media. “It’s nice to be able to connect with my fans. I’m a part of it. I’m totally involved.”
Gomez admitted that although she’s not on top of the world right now, she’s still in a pretty good place as she rated herself a seven out of 10 during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneresShow earlier this week.
If you enter Selena Gomez’s house unannounced, you may get a serious eyeful
“I feel like I have been doing this so long that people tend to forget that they’re all like, ‘Be yourself, be yourself,’ and I’m still trying to figure out who that is. I know I’m not perfect, and I have a lot of people that support me and love me, and I don’t know — I don’t want to let anyone down, so I try to be the best I can be. It’s awkward being 20, in our 20s,” she told DeGeneres.
