Rose’s painful split from husband Wiz Khalifa is still fresh, but the model is doing just fine. Rose revealed last week that she won’t be entering the dating pool anytime soon because she has a No. 1 man to focus on, and he’s already been in her life for 19 months: her son, Sebastian.

“I’m OK. I’m doing pretty good. I’m going through a divorce and technically I’m single. I guess you could say I’m just not ready for that,” Rose told Us Weekly last week, referring to dating again. “I’m focused on my son and I’m focused on work and I really don’t have time for a man right now,” she said. “I just want to do me. That’s it. I want to do me and I want to take care of my son and I want to work.”

This might be Rose’s way of putting to bed rumors that she’s been seeing Gene Simmons’ son, Nick Simmons, in recent weeks. The duo have been spotted around Los Angeles hot spots lately, but the younger Simmons insists there’s “no relationship, just friends.”

Rose’s new priorities seem healthy, considering the alleged cheating that Khalifa committed and the struggle she has been enduring since. “The mornings are especially hard,” Rose tweeted on Oct. 6. “The pain…I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died….. I never knew what true heartache felt like until now.”

For now, it looks like Rose is focused on the holidays and keeping things festive for Sebastian. “He’s talking a lot now and he’s obsessed with pumpkins,” she told Us Weekly. “All day it’s, ‘Pumpkin, pumpkin!’ I’m gonna dress him up as a pumpkin [for Halloween]. It’s going to be awesome.”

And it looks like the beauty hasn’t thrown in the towel on men for good. Rose, who will celebrate her 31st birthday on Tuesday, tweeted some hints to friends who are throwing her birthday bash.
