Bruce’s family revealed the sad news on Facebook Saturday morning, saying, “It is with great sadness that we, Jack’s family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend. The world of music will be a poorer place without him, but he lived on in his music and forever in our hearts.”
Bruce was best known for being a member of Cream, what most people consider the original rock supergroup, in the ’60s. Eric Clapton played guitar for the band, and Ginger Baker was the drummer. They were known for the hits “I Feel Free” and “Sunshine of Your Love,” among others.
