Seth Rogen has gone from a C-list comedy actor to perhaps one of the most diverse talents in Hollywood. The actor’s next film has him playing a journalist who is enlisted to kill North Korea’s dictator, but after that? It looks like it may be the role of a lifetime.

According to Variety, Rogen has landed the role of Steve Wozniak, the cofounder of Apple. It was reported only two weeks ago that Christian Bale was named as Steve Jobs in the Apple biopic being written by Aaron Sorkin.
Wozniak, along with Jobs and Ronald Wayne, launched Apple back in the late ’70s. Together, they came out with groundbreaking equipment, including the Apple I and Apple II. He left his role at Apple in 1987.
Although Rogen may seem like an unlikely addition to a biopic, his variety may make him perfect for the character. Actress Jessica Chastain’s name has also been rumored for the project, but it’s not yet clear what role she would play.
Jobs is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography, Steve Jobs, and is being put together by some big names in Hollywood, including director, Danny Boyle.
Sorkin also wrote the film, The Social Network, so he is no stranger to tech dramas. He has said in the past the film will be comprised of three scenes — each showing what it is like backstage before an Apple product launch.
The Interview‘s release date pushed: Is it because of Kim Jong-un?
Last year, Ashton Kutcher starred in a film also called Jobs, with Josh Gad playing Steve Wozniak, but it received very little fanfare and only made $36 million at the box office.
You can see Rogen’s next film, The Interview — along with James Franco — out in theaters Dec. 25.
