Judi Dench has a butt tattoo, but you’ll never guess what it is of

Dame Judi Dench dropped a bombshell when she was speaking at the Jaguar Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last week. She informed the audience that she has a tattoo on her butt.

While accepting the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment honor, the The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel actress revealed that if it were not for the help of someone (whose name she has tattooed on her bottom), she would not have succeeded in the industry.

“I’ve never actually divulged who this person was but somebody very, very famous… said to me, ‘I’m so sorry, but I need to tell you this. You’ll never make a film because your face isn’t quite properly arranged,'” Dench shared while speaking on stage.

Dench’s big break came when she starred as Queen Victoria in the 1997 film, Mrs. Brown, and she has since proved whoever that person was very wrong! However, the actress believes she owes part of her success to Harvey Weinstein.

“Blessed Harvey Weinstein, whose tattoo I still have on my bum, said it would be a proper [theatrical] film and it was,” she revealed. Yes, you just read that correctly, Dench apparently has a tattoo that reads Harvey Weinstein on her bottom.

There are, however, conflicting reports about whether the tattoo is real or not. According to the New York Post’s Page Six, several years ago, when Dench was enjoying a celebratory lunch at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York City, New York, she decided to reveal to Weinstein that she’d had his name tattooed on her bottom as a sign of gratitude.

Not surprisingly, the studio executive did not believe this news, and so the Skyfall actress showed him her bottom to prove it! Although, according to the column, it was all a clever little prank because Dench had her makeup artist draw on a tattoo. What a jokester!
