Jon and Kate Gosselin became the unlikely couple — with a lot of children — who spurred a reality TV genre. But after years in front of the camera, Jon decided it was too much.
Jon Gosselin’s story is a classic rags-to-riches… to rags tale
The couple divorced, Jon left to do his own things and Jon & Kate Plus 8 turned into Kate Plus 8. But according to E! News, it looks like the former reality dad has finally come to the end of his freedom rope and is looking to make a jump back into the world of reality TV.
“I would consider appearing on Couples Therapy with Kate,” Jon Gosselin reportedly told Life & Style, adding that his children would want the financial windfall that would come with another show.
“We’re divorced, but why can’t we co-parent?” he said. “I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering.”
But he added, “She’s still so angry at me.”
Although Kate Gosselin’s reality stardom has also pretty much passed, Jon explained that wouldn’t be enough for her to agree to appear on TV with him.
“She says absolutely not,” he explained. “She doesn’t want her faults exposed.”
However, it looks like Kate’s fears may be warranted. Jon seems to have some issues he is already ready to discuss in a very public way, including who she might be dating.

The couple seems very far away from any sort of reconciliation, even in private. But Jon’s desperation shows that he might be willing to do anything for a little publicity.
