It has been more than a week since Taylor Swift released her album, 1989, and plenty of fans have had a chance to listen to it over and over. But for those who don’t have as much time on their hands, it looks like there is another option.
10 Things you didn’t know about Pentatonix
Pentatonix decided to make it easy and so they condensed the album down to only a few minutes — in fact, less than four.
Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying of the band got together — both wearing Taylor Swift T-shirts (they’re obviously fans) — and sang every song from the album, according to People.
Back in September, the band spoke with SheKnows about their love for Taylor Swift, but admitted she is the one artist they were terrified to cover.
“One that comes to mind is ‘I Knew You Were Trouble,'” the band explained when asked if there was an artist they didn’t want to cover. “We were gonna arrange it, but we couldn’t find a key that works for any of our voices that we liked. It was just really hard to sing. Like, with what we do, we have to be able to sing it perfectly live and just we could already tell it was going to be a mess. We just were intimidated by it. It’s a big song, if you think about it.”
But this time, it looks like Pentatonix felt comfortable enough with Swift’s newest album to cover the entire thing. The band is pretty smart for doing what they did, since T-Swift is a hot topic these days. She sold nearly 1.3 million copies of her album, 1989, in its first week out — the first time that has happened since 2002.

For anyone who is disappointed they can’t hear Swift’s album on Spotify, this may be the next best thing.
Pentatonix recently released their newest album, That’s Christmas To Me.
