Valerie Bertinelli is the 6th celebrity to call Christina Aguilera a B

Valerie Bertinelli has a choice name for Christina Aguilera — one that starts with a “B.” But is anyone surprised? You shouldn’t be.

Christina Aguilera back on The Voice, but what about Gwen Stefani?

In 14 years, Xtina has earned herself a real reputation for rubbing people the wrong way. And Valerie Bertinelli isn’t even close to the first celeb to call her the B-word — five others have done it since 2000, the early days of the singer’s career.

And that’s not even mentioning the long list of celebs who have stopped just short of saying “bitch,” but still said Aguilera is rude or stuck up — celebs like Mariah Carey, Avril Lavigne and Mean Girls actor, Daniel Franzese, who played too-gay-to-function Damien and had, arguably, the most heartbreaking story of a run-in with a snobby Xtina.

“It’s actually funny because I met Christina Aguilera and I thought for sure that would be an exciting moment in my life,” Franzese said. “And I was like, ‘Christina, my name’s Daniel. I sing ‘Beautiful’ in Mean Girls. And she was like, ‘Never saw it.’ And then turned her back and walked away. She was so rude.”

And then there’s Shirley Manson, singer in the alt-rock band, Garbage, who went one letter further and threw down the C-word.

Why not struggle to be a nicer person Christina?” Manson wrote on her band’s website. “Perhaps that would bring you closer to God because rumour has it from numerous and decidedly reliable sources that you are an absolute c***.”

Party like it’s ’00 with Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera

That’s taking it a little far, though, so here’s a roundup of all the stars who have thrown the B-word — and some solid shade — Xtina’s way to date.

1. Valerie Bertinelli, 2014

I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to her because she was at a Van Halen concert, and I said, ‘Oh my God, I think you’re a beautiful singer, blah blah blah,’ and she just went like [she made an over-her-head motion], ‘Yah, whatever.’ She gave me the cold shoulder and I thought, ‘Bitch, I’m a fan! You can’t be nice to me?’ You know?”

2. The Wanted’s Tom Parker

“[Xtina] is a total bitch. She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us, she was a total bitch. She just sat there and didn’t speak to us. Wouldn’t even look at us.”

3. Adam Levine and Tony Lucca, 2012

These two weren’t quite as straightforward, but they got their message across anyway. Sources told media in 2012 that Lucca’s performance of “99 Problems” on The Voice was directed at Xtina.

Adam and Tony wanted to call Christina out as a bitch,” the source said at the time. “It was completely aimed at her. It was Adam’s idea, but Tony absolutely loved it.”

4. Kelly Osbourne, 2011

“Maybe she is just becoming the fat bitch she was born to be. I don’t know. She was a c*** to me. And she bought my house!”

5. Eminem, 2000

Eminem famously dissed Xtina in the lyrics to “The Real Slim Shady,” saying, “Christina Aguilera better switch me chairs so I can sit next to Carson Daly and Fred Durst, and hear ’em argue over who she gave head to first. You little bitch, put me on blast on MTV: ‘Yeah, he’s cute, but I think he’s married to Kim, hee-hee!’ I should download her audio on MP3 and show the whole world how you gave Eminem VD.”
