Country legend Garth Brooks just made one more fan’s dream come true!
Garth Brooks wins hospital battle over broken promises
According to Fox News, during the singer’s concert in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he decided to stop his performance of “The Dance” to pay tribute to a very special fan, Teresa Shaw, who is battling cancer.
Shaw is reportedly undergoing aggressive treatment for her cancer, but she recently traveled from Iowa to Minnesota to watch her idol perform. According to KARE 11 in Minneapolis, via Fox News, during the show Shaw held up a sign that read, “Chemo This Morning. Garth Tonight. Enjoying The Dance.”
Luckily, an usher spotted the sign and allowed Shaw to get closer to the front of the stage where Brooks caught sight of the words and reacted in a truly beautiful way!

The country crooner walked to the edge of the stage and held Shaw’s hand whilst he serenaded her. Brooks then stopped his performance midway and handed Shaw his guitar before leaning down and kissing her forehead and having a private little chat with her.
He then walked back to the center of the stage and held up her banner and voiced his support for her, saying, “You have all my strength. You have everybody’s strength in here, and you go kick cancer’s ass!”
The sweet moment appeared to touch everyone in the crowd as concertgoers reacted with a loud and joyous cheer!
It’s always nice to see celebs doing something great for their fans, and we’re sure this was a moment Shaw will remember forever.
